firstly, i miss IJ. i miss IJ terribly. the sitting-anyway-i-like. the hanging out at the monkey bars. the bitching. the girls. the running away from jo teo. the blue pinafore. the standard of english. the beautiful prayer room. the warmth. the safe feeling behind the big white spiked wall.
ok, now that i have that off my chest.
contrary to the title, i'm happily taking in the sights and the sounds now. so much easier to not have to deal with too many people a day. so much happier in school, looking at the skies through my big brown shades. so much happier in the lab, complaining about sitting around idle for 2 hours, waiting for my reaction to be complete. so much happier straining my thigh muscles, trying not to fall flat on my face. so much happier gasping in delight at the pretty pretty lights that are hanging off the trees along the university cultural centre. and no, i'm not being sarcastic here.
